Water bouncers are many times misunderstood. They do NOT classify as water trampolines within the industry (although referred to as such by most people) because they do not operate with springs. The jumping mat is welded or threaded to the outer bladder, reducing the jump quality significantly. Water bouncers do have their own exclusive advantages however. Water bouncers are extremely portable with set-up and breakdown times ranging from 5-10 minutes, compared to 45 mins and more with water trampolines. The water bouncer category is also broken down further to include Rave Sports' line of Ozone bouncers. Rave Sport Bongos have outer bladders which are made from the same commercial grade materials as water trampolines. Rave Sports Ozones are made from a lighter duty vinyl making them less durable and more affordable. Most important things to remember are: water bouncers do not use springs, are more portable, are more affordable, and have less jump quality than water trampolines.
